Odile Coindreau Neuberg
(b.1956, Mexico)

Born in Monterrey in 1956, Odile Coindreau Neuberg, spent her formative years in this city. She moved to the United States in 1983. Coming from an artistic background, Odile felt the urge to experiment with different art forms. She discovered that art is not only fun but that it is an extraordinary way of communication and expression. Her art is based on the need to create pictures that invoke a feeling of happiness or reflection. She has further her studies in art at the Mexican Cultural Center and Community College in McAllen and is now taking lessons in Houston, Texas, where she resides. She attended private art lessons with Pablo Bobbio and Sally Babbitt at the Art League of Houston. Her teachers have helped her find a form of expression in which she feels comfortable and this has led her to develop her very unique style.
The highlight of her artistic career so far, has been when she was honored by an invitation to show her work at The Museum of The Century in Monterrey, México where her work was on display for a whole month and got great reviews on TV, radio and newspaper. On view: February & March, 2005
