Studied drawing and Fine Art at the School of Visual Arts Cristobal Rojas, Caracas between 1989 and 1993.  Martínez has participated in solo and collective exhibitions in Caracas and other Venezuelan cities, as well as in James Chapel Gallery, Columbia University. NY, 2000; Simon Bolivar Foundation, Havana, Cuba (2001 and 2005); International Art Competition, La Paz, Bolivia (2001).
With his attentive eye, he produces seductive art nurtured from the psyche and marginal elaborations that breaks out of any boredom.
